Activity 2: A Local Delicacy
Whitebait is a very special fish in New Zealand. It is rumoured (believed) to be a very delicious fish. Some restaurants in New Zealand make dishes that feature whitebait, including whitebait fritters. Have you ever tried whitebait fritters? They are a favourite dish of many of my friends. I, personally, prefer foods from places like Mexico and Italy. Pizza and nachos are two of my all-time favourite foods! In fact, I often make homemade pizza with Aronui on Friday nights using the same ingredients (pizza base, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, chicken, red onion, basil and feta cheese) each time.
For this activity, please choose a favourite food and find a recipe for it.
On your blog, share a list of the ingredients that you need to make this food. You must type out the list of ingredients yourself (and not simply copy and paste it from a website) to earn full points.
PIZZA 😋😋😋🍕🍕🍕
One of my favourite food is PIZZA! Me and my brother make it sometimes with our Mum. I think the pizza we make at home is better because we can put heaps of cheese on it!! We go to the supermarket first to buy all the stuff and this is what we get......
3 pack pizza base
tomato pizza paste
mayonnaise
bbq sauce
mozzarella cheese
shredded chicken
pepperoni
You can add heaps of other things on top if you want to make it more colourful but I that's how I like mine just simple. And here are some pictures of me making pizzas in the school holidays lastyear.....
Hey Jahrey,
ReplyDeleteYummy! I agree with you pizza is one of my favourite dishes as well. I love how you make pizzas with half chicken and half pepperoni. Is this because you made one half and your brother made the other? When we make pizza at home I often put on a whole heap of different ingredients. For example, tomato paste is a must, capsicum, tomato, feta cheese, basil, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni. Mmmhmmm. Maybe I will have to make pizzas tonight for my son, Nico, and I. You have made my mouth water.
I am really enoying the photos that you are sharing of you and your whanau. How are you getting these photos? Do you store them on your chromebook?
Keep up the incredible work, Jahrey. I am so proud of the effort you are putting in.
Nga mihi,
Megan :)
