Week 1 Day 4 More than meets the eye Activity 2

Activity 2: Pancakes and Maple Syrup?
Aotearoa New Zealand is home to many spectacular sights and natural wonders. One of these is the Punakaiki Rocks and Blowholes located on the West Coast of the South Island. The Punakaiki rocks attract tourists from all over the world who are keen to see these amazing rock formations. Many people think that they look like pancakes stacked on top of one another. Pancakes are one of my favourite foods! They are delicious and pretty easy to make.
For this activity you are asked to choose one of your favourite foods. On your blog, write the name of your favourite food and then tell us how to make it. You may need to ask a family member, friend or Google (!) for help, if you do not normally make this food for yourself.

  1. Kia Ora Jahrey,

It’s Dani from the Kaikohekohe cluster here again. I enjoyed my time here in Ako Hiko so much yesterday, I thought I would spend another day here.

Mhmm, your dad’s coconut cream prawns look delicious! Well done on adding photos to show the different steps that you take. That makes it easier for people to see if they are completing the steps correctly. Would you be able to add some measurements to your ingredients list? Even if they aren’t exact, you can give a rough measurement. I know that I would love to make it but I’m worried that I might add too much chilli or curry powder and I can’t handle food that is too spicy!

I look forward to reading more of your blog soon!

    Blog ya later,

    Dani
